Deleting History and Favorites
I want to clear or delete History and Favorites. I can't see any option to do it. I remember in early version of Logos for the iPad that there was an option to delete them.
There are texts and books references that I no loger need and also I want to delete some garbage that I do not know how it got into History and Favorites
Your help is appreaciated
Best regards!!

Press and hold on one of the detailed entries - you will get a small rec circle appear to the left of the entry - this will have a horizontal while line in it.
Press the circle and a red "Delete" button will appear to the right of the entry
Click the "Delete" button and you're done

Graham, Thank you very much!!!
I still have another problem below it is a screenshot from Favorites The first show the list of favorites: C, D, M, The 10 Commandments. I do not know how this data got there. When I select any of them it show "no favorites" (see the second screenshot). I can not delete them either. See below

You may need to delete "empty favorites folders" from the desktop environment and these changes should sync down to the iPad version.

Eddie - sorry for the confusion in my last post. There are actually two places for history and favorites. In e reading view, favorites are found under the "star" icon. History is found by pressing down and holding the "left arrow" icon (to the left of the reference box). In both of these locations, you can delete favorites or history by using a left swipe motion over the title you are trying to delete.

Graham, thanks so much again!!
There are many folders under the logos folder......can you please indicate me where I can find it?
Is there a way to force sycnhronization in the ipad similar to the option in the desktop environment?
Thanks so much again!! [:D]

If you go to the Tools menu in Logos and click Favorites you should see all the folders you have defined.
Unfortunately, there isn't a "sync now" button on the iPad. I think it would be very useful if there was.

Eddie: For future reference, you can take screen shots directy from within the iPad by clicking the home button and the power button simultaneously. That will take a picture of the current screen and place it into your pictures app. You can email them to yourself from there.

Similar problem here. If I press and hold one of the detailed entries, I do not see a small red circle - I suspect this would be something similar to how one removes items from iBooks - that approach works there but not with Logos on my version 1 iPad. While pressing/holding one of the entries, there is a small red circle that flashes and then opens up the entry in in the Bible - sort of floats over to the opened page and then disappears.

Some questions:
- What version of the app are you running?
- What are you trying to delete? History? Favorites?
- Which panel or screen are you using? (Often, info is available in more than one place… did you read my previous posts in this thread?)

You're welcome. :-) I'm glad iOS makes it so easy. I've used it in a few different situations.
