Logos very slow

Logos 4 is does not appear to have much documentation resident on the computer, but is constantly having to access the home server for data.  

I live in an area with very low bandwidth and poor coverage.  I was better off with Libronix.

 

Is there any way I can download all my books, translations etc so they become local to my computer?

Your resources are downloaded to your computer. When Logos accesses the servers it is backing up (and syncing for mobile devices) your documents and highlights. You can turn the internet setting off, and then turn it back on just to sync when you need it to. When Logos 4 or 5 downloads, depending on your library, should have downloaded several GB of data. That was your books downloading.
