Theological Journal Library Vol 10

I have Theological Jornal Library Vol. 1-9, and I am wondering about buying the updates (Vol 10, 11, 12, 13, 14).

I have a question for you that own Theological Journal Library Vol 10. Can someone tell me what "Updates and Corrections on Previous Issues" means?

I thought that updates and corrections happened automaticly? Isn't that true with Theological Journal Library? Are Journals from Vol 1-9 replaced?

To me Volume 10 doesn't seem to have as much content as the other volumes. Is that correct?

These Volumes were done by an "outside" company--by a very talented and dedicated individual, actually.

He has made his own corrections to the earlier Volumes. I have Vol 10 but cannot remember what the changes amounted to.

I believe that after Vol 12 the files "may"? have been done more "in-house" by Logos? [or "he" sent the files to Logos for distribution?]

Around that same time, Logos was announcing "No more Libronix 3 CDs" etc would be produced.

Not really sure, but I seem to remember Vol 12 was the last on CD and that Vol 13ff etc., was released as a Logos "download"?

Someone might chime in to correct me...?

Do you think that Vol 10 includes updates and corrections for Vol 1-9 that I have not received automaticly (because I don't own Vol 10)? Or do you think that this "update and correction part" is only applicable for the Libronix CDs (and that I have the updates and corrections for Vol 1-9 already)?

I am really not sure.

Plus I am not sure that you have actually received

the updates and corrections for Vol 1-9 already)?

You "may" have, I just do not know. I had not even been aware (until seeing your posting) that I had received "corrections" etc to the earlier juournals.

I do know that some of the early volumes of these journals did have "errors" and/or parts of their code made them un-stable or caused them not to "work" correctly.

These "deficiencies" were what "Logos" said concerned them about "outside" third-party vendors, etc.

But, sorry, I do not have an answer. [:(]

Yes, vol 10 included corrected files for various journals included in vols 1-9. They were also available via the ftp sites but not everyone was adept at using them so Galaxie included them on the vol 10 CD. You will now have the latest files via the automatic update in L4 and L5. Those who are still using L3 and have never updated their journals via the ftp site may find that there are updates on this CD for them but that is a very small number of people.
