First of all, thank you for your very much appreciated app!
Here are 4 suggestions that, I think, could improve the user experience in the iOS Logos app:
- I would love to see the linked panels to keep in-sync for the top verse shown in both panels. For example, if John 1:1 is shown at top in left panel, I would suggest that John 1:1 is also shown at top in right panel. That would make reading of parallel versions easier and more helpful. I think this is pretty standard in other apps that have this feature.
- I would prefer to have the single finger down/up gesture to be linked to the ability to scroll the text forward/backward. I find this more natural than having to use two fingers for this feature. And in fact, combined with the suggestion 1 above, that would make the reading experience easier. If many users have the opposite opinion, then this could be an option in settings.
- I would love to be able to write notes and add "hyperlinked" verse references in them, so that I could quickly display each verse (when tapping to it) and then jump to it (with a "jump to" button as it is currently possible with cross-references in different Bibles).
- And finally, that would be nice to be able to show my notes (and hyperlinked cross-references contained in it) along with the notes contained in the current Bible version, probably visually separated to indicate which ones are "personal" and which ones are contained in the original book.
Finally, I simply want to let you know how I appreciate the Lexham translation, with all the notes contained with it, and displayed at the bottom of the page. Even though French is my first language, I read more and more in this version, just because of all its resources!
