Highlighting

I am a bit confused about highlighting. I generally use only the Yellow Highlighter to highlight the books that I read. Is it better to create a different "highlight document" for each book? Or is it best just to let all the highlighting of all the books go into one file?

Highlighting is a way of coding a book for the next time you read it.

The simplest is a yellow "look at me."

Use a different color (consistently) for the words of Jesus.

Use another, different color for "this word or phrase ambiguous; check the original text."

And so forth.

My Bible is marked by various hignlights, underscores, brackets and other memory joggers to help me look deeper into the text.

Freddy– two questions for you:

1) do you highlight much or little (color and style is irrelevant)?

2) do you now (or intend to later) use the mobile app?

If you answer "much" to one and "yes" to two, I would strongly recommend developing a new strategy. Personally, I do create a file for each resource.
