Logos 4 Mac black input fields?

One of my pastors just upgraded to Logos 4 about a month before the release of 5. Everything seemed to be working, but now he says the input (search and reference boxes) are turning black and are not receiving input. Is this something anybody has experienced before or should we just call up Logos support for help? Thanks!

It would be best for him to post himself and/or call logos directly. If he posts here, screen shots and perhaps logs will be needed.

Wonder if OS X is up to date ? black input boxes can in an indicator for graphics driver update.
