Daily Readings section just says "Loading"
For the past few days, my Daily Readings section of the Logos iPad app has been "loading". I also cannot see my reading plans in the documents section.
On my desktop I can see all five of my reading plans, one group reading plan and four individual plans.
I can also see the plans on Biblia.com.
Each plan was supposed to start today.
I have attached the logos usage files from my iPad.
Thanks in advance for your help!
BTW - I really enjoy the Logos system on all platforms. Thanks for developing such a usable and helpful program.

This has been reported and talked about on the forums for the past few days. As of right now, no good answer has been given as to why this is happening.

I concur... You might try deleting and reinstalling... But you will lose your downloaded resources. Out of curiosity... Did you have other reading plans ongoing? Can you see the reading plan under the "documents" section? If so, that might at least get you going.
Welcome to the forums, by the way! [:)]

The old reading plans I had continued to work, meaning they all were done by the 31 of December. It is the new plans that I created to start today and on the 24 of December that have not showed up on the IOS platform. They do show up on the Kindle Fire though.
Also I created a 30 day with Jesus reading plan on my IPhone. This was a pre defined one with the LEB. This plan shows on my IPhone and Kindle Fire, but not the IPad.
With my reading plans on books that are available on mobile platforms, I also created a note file to use with them. They show up on the IOD platform but not the Android platform.
THat is why I think there is a sync problem somewhere.

There is clearly some issue... I'm not sure if its a sync issue or not... This issue, however, is affecting a plurality of users. When I created my new plan, it didn't show up on my phone, but did show up on my iPad, which is running a beta version.
I don't know if you understood me about the reading plan document... There SHOULD be a reading plan document in your "documents" section of the mobile app. I know of at least one user who received the same "loading" message, but his reading plan document WAS on his device. By accessing the document, he was able to get to his reading plan. Of course, your issue may not be the same other than the symptom.

Alabama.
I do understand you about a reading plan document. Tommy asked me the same thing in another thread, and I responded. No, it does not show up there either. That was one of rhe first places I looked for it. That is how I found that my note files for the reading plans had synced.
On the Anrdoid side you cannot create note files on the device, and editing is very limited. Hopefully that will change in time.

Alabama,
On the faithlife bible study forum, Graham is having a problem with three Logos IOS apps showing different reading plans, see this post http://community.logos.com/forums/t/63610.aspx
This is why I think it is a sync problem.

Kenneth– Have you tried reinstalling the app? NOTE: you will have to redownload any downloaded resources.
Alabama,
Reinstalling the Logos app did correct the problem I had. The resources I had for off-line use downloaded automatically, so I did not have to do that manually.

Glad it worked! [:)]
Since the issue did not occur for me on my beta installation, hopefully this issue will be resolved for everyone when the next version goes live… [I have no time table for that… and my beta version is an "early" build, so it may be a little while yet].

I still believe it is a sync problem, because the FaithLife app has the same problem with reading plans on the IOS side.
If the only answer that is ever given, delete and reinstall, then to me there is a fundamental problem that is not being addressed across all platforms. This problem did not occur until the last update to Logos 5 happened. If they are introducing something on the desktop side that is going to hinder the use of the mobile side they should hold off on the update until all platforms are up to speed, to lessen unnecessary grief and stress.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Logos app on my iPad and it hasn't helped at all. I still get a "loading" on the "Daily Readings" page. I wouldn't even care if it synced with my desktop because I rarely use my desktop version since I got the iPad app, but it won't let me create a new reading plan either. Since it is caught up in the perpetual "loading" thing, the button to add a reading plan is grayed out.

Did you try creating a new reading plan under the documents tab instead?
Out of curiosity: Do you have many or few highlights & notes?
I had not tried that but just did and it worked! Awesome! Plus, when it pulled in the reading plan I created through documents, it also picked up my daily devotional readings that I had previously set up on my desktop! Thanks so much for the help!!
