I am running L5 on several computers and L4 on one computer which has no internet connection. I have successfully updated this L4 computer for years by manually copying resource updates, application updates and my license file to the respective folders in L4. It has worked with few problems of the years. Recently I have tried this and have had problems with a couple of resource files, particularly the LEB bible and the new Romans Pillar NT Commentary. When I copy these files to the L4 computer along with my license file, these resources are no longer available in my library. Other resource updates that were updated the same day as these two suspect files worked fine.
I tried copying an older version of the LEB bible and I got it back, but when I tried the updated version of the file again, it does not show up in my library. My question is, are resource files specific to L4 and L5? They both have *.logos4 extensions, so I assumed they were compatible.
I realize this is not a common problem for most, being that the one computer is offline (and running Windows XP, so I can't install L5), but any help would be appreciated...
