Reading plans not Appearing on iPad
I have set up several different Bible reading plans on Logs 5, using different Bibles, but none of them are appearing on my iPad or iPod. I have tried force-syncing the app, but still nothing. Am I missing something?

I had the same problem yesterday, and waiting 4 hours didn't help either. I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it; that worked.

Worked--when am I going to remember that simple fix? Thanks a ton! [:D]

Is deleting and reinstalling the only option? I really do not want to have to download my resources again.

It is the only known solution, yes.
I really do not want to have to download my resources again.
Frequently, a delete and reinstall is the best solution. For this reason, I generally recommend that people only download large numbers of resources when absolutely necessary. FWIW - the app should redownload your resources for you automatically… (but may not).

Just checking to make sure that is best solution before I use up remaining allotment of data plan to delete/download again on iPad! Not seeing a reading plan on my iPad (original).
I deleted reading plan from iMac (Logos 4) and iPad (original) late October and used 'paper' copy until first of year as that seemed best way to track reading; sync never worked. Both are up to date on software. First of year I discovered new reading plan - love this one! 365-Day Connect the Testaments Plan. It is on my iMac but can't get it to appear on iPad. I'm using NIV 84. I did discover that the plan on iMac can be exported to iCalendar - that then transferred over to iPad but you only see a list of each day's reading - either device.

Janis - if I remember right, you are in a limited Internet situation. Is that right? Unfortunately the best solution is often a reinstall. For that reason, I don't recommend downloading large amounts of resources unless absolutely necessary... (as may be the case with you). If you can find a cafe with free wifi, I would certainly try a reinstall... But have you first killed the app with the multitask bar? How about a full shut down of your device?

Yes, it's still somewhat limited but much more reliable and certainly faster. Eliminated the satellite service and now using a mobile hotspot (wifi). Update to 4.6a SR-5 earlier this week took a fair chunk of monthly data usage allotment.
I have tried turning off the app and powering down the iPad, and also closing program/shut-down of iMac. Didn't seem to help with sync. Will delete iPad app again and try to reload it next trip to local library (free wifi). Thanks again for your excellent advice and suggestions!

I'm having the same problem with Faithlife/ L4 reading plans not syncing to iOS apps. I have tried reinstalling Faithlife twice but to no avail. All I can see under Daily Readings are the two devotionals 'Connect the Testaments' and 'Morning and Evening.' Haven't tried reinstalling Logos yet - that's a last ditch action!

I still don't understand the Faithlife/L4 interaction so have sent inquiry to their customer support. Ordered it months ago but was unable to download due to internet issues.
The Good News: Just turned my iPad back on and am now seeing 3 sections on screen - Library at top; and Daily Readings / News on lower portion. Daily readings includes Connect the Testaments: a daily devotional; one or two others; AND my new reading plan - 365-day connect testaments! Life is good! If this continues to work will remove it from the Calendar as that was not particularly useful. Thanks to all for helpful suggestions.

OK. I bit the bullet and reinstalled Logos on my iPhone. Now all my reading plans have disappeared and have gone the way of Faithlife (only devotionals are showing, not reading plans)!
I'm really not sure what else to do!?

First, have you given the app enough time to download all your documents? Depending upon how large your note files are, plus how many books are redownloading, this could take a LONG time.
Second, Tommy Ball suggested that one bug in the current app may require the app to be closed down via the multi-task bar AFTER it is reinstalled… I would make sure your docs have finished downloading first, though. Is the wheel spinning above?

Just noticed the spinning wheel is still going. I don't have many documents, but I guess what I have may still take time. Most seem to be there already. I'll leave it spinning and see what happens after restarting the app.
Two reading plan documents are listed (one linked to a Faithlife group) but when selected they only show the options to create a reading plan, not the details of the reading already created and working in L4 and on the web.

The wheel stopped spinning, so I closed the app and restarted, but no reading plans have successfully appeared. Not sure what else to try!

Just to double check… (sorry if we've been through this before)… here is my documents panel filtered for my reading plans. You have done the same without any hits?
I get two hits (as below) but one reading plan (my 'main' one) is completely missing.
Then when I select either of these reading plans I just see this...
Thanks for your time on this. It's not a massive issue as I have the reading plans in L4, but I miss the convenience of having them on my phone!

Sorry I can't be more help… last question I can think of: what version do you use for your reading plans? Is it mobile enabled? If so, I think Logos will have to chime in. Sorry!
Please don't worry! I use ESV for most of my readings, which is downloaded in the app. I figured there wouldn't be a simple answer!
My 'main' reading plan used to be connected to a Faithlife group but I recently disconnected it.
The '30 Days with Jesus' plan is currently connected with a Faithlife group.
So I suspect that Faithlife might be the culprit but I have no proof. Does Columbo work for Logos?

Wow. Apple is becoming more and more like Microshaft. Only, I never had to reinstall Windows, I only had to restart it.

I didn't say that the user needed to reinstall the Apple iOS… they needed to reinstall the Logos app.
I know, but I couldn't resist the jab at the Forbidden Fruit Company.

never got around to downloading Faithlife (too many uncertainties there and not sure if it would be of that much benefit considering the data quantity to download).
Personally, I don't like the Faithlife app. Instead, I install Vyrso as a second app. The Faithlife app requires the download of the Faithlife resources. If you have those downloaded to your Logos app, that is a significant duplication… the resources are fairly large.
