Everytime I start Logos it takes forever because it opens a ton of commentaries, exegetical guide and other resources. How do I get it to just open blank?
Press & hold the Crtl key while starting Logos. When the menu comes up asking if you want to sign in, click the checkbox that says open to a blank layout.
Alternatively, close all resources before you close Logos.
Either way should cause it to open to a blank layout.
In your case, it's probably opening up what you last had open. :-)

It takes a while to learn such a beautiful Bible Study Product, so please relax and enjoy and keep building on what you have learned.
Most of us do not open our logos from the Front Page. There are controls on the Front Page (lower left column) for setting up and turning off the front page.
Then, it will open up just exactly what we have told it to!
Please tell us if you are using Logos 4 or Logos 5 and one of us will suggest some great videos on a few of these points!
