L4 Platinum User wondering what version of L5 to Buy

I need some help...I am looking to upgrade, but with all the confusion of the new L5, I don't know which to buy. Then, I saw there is a free L5 version coming out? What is that, does it have all the tools? I am very confused?! I don't need a lot of new books, but the L5 tools look great. Thinking of a crossgrade, but will that be free soon? Help someone please!

Personally upgraded Logos 4 Platinum to Logos 5 Portfolio plus Verbum Capstone since the delta upgrade from Diamond to Portfolio was less than 10 % of the regular combined prices for a number of items that were on my wish list.

A friend with Logos 4 Platinum upgraded to Logos 5 Silver then purchased Logos 5 Minimal Crossgrade for less than $ 7 to add Bible Sense Lexicon.

I had L4 Platinum and upgraded to L5 Platinum. There were some lesser known titles in the new pkg that were on my wish list. I gained about 450 new titles in the upgrade for about $600.

If you want to keep the cost to a minimum, I recommend the Minimal Crossgrade. The new featues of L5 are really great. You should upgrade for them, if you do not see enough value in the additional titles in any of the upgrade pkgs. Many seem to have found the sweet spot at L5 Silver and then added the MC for about $7 more.

While you are browsing, be sure to look at the fabulous prices in the CUSTOMIZE button that are available to those who upgrade. (IVP Essential Collection, ISBE, and a huge selection of popular commentary sets). I'm sure you will find something that's on your wishlist.

Not on these packages. It'll probably be the cheapest you'll get this for.

I have plantium 4 and choose silver with the minimal upgrade. Best value if you don't want more commentaries. IMHO. All the best.

I had L4 Platinum and upgraded to L5 Gold to get all of the features and because the Gold offered a few things i was interested in. If the Gold does not have anything you want, then i'd go with the crossgrade. And be sure to check out the Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary under the customize button. You'll never see it that cheap again. I added it on to my Gold upgrade and have no regrets.
