Strange, I did remember in Dec 2010 I check and search on logos.com and found Explore the book by Sidlow Baxter available around $30. But delayed in buying it.
Yesterday I tried to buy it but nowhere to be found. I call up logos and sales said that it was not available.
I just wonder whether was it available at all at logos?
I have sent a request to suggest@logos.com to make it available.
It is really a great resource, I have the printed version and use it a lot for overview of the bible. None that I know does it the way he does.
Overview of the bible as a whole
Overview of the Old Testament
Overview of the New Testament
Overview of the intertestament period of 400 years
Very good overview of each book of the bible from a different perspective
I certainly recommend anyone who like to see the big picture.
He brought out he harmony of the whole bible in a very clear and concise way.
I look forward to see it on Logos

I have made a Personal Book for personal use last week.
Logos is certainly missing one of tne best resources for Bible Study.

This thread is old, but I also want to put a plug for this resource

I wonder what is the reason for logos not to consider to add to the library. As I am sure there is a demand for it. Or is it due to the publisher? Not likely? So I am curious, very curios to know the reason.

We can only guess, unless someone of Logos gives an answer here.
Please Logos, add "Explore the Book". And "The Unfolding Drama of Scripture" by Scroggie.

You have to remember that Logos is dealing with a very large number of requested resources. Logos says that it would like to publish them all. But some books they cannot get the rights to; Some take a long time of track down the rights; Some are from publishers they have not dealt with before; Some there are complications in negotiating a contract; ... It would not be a good idea for Logos to let us know where they are in negotiations. And to ask them to keep us informed of the prioritization of our requests would leave less time to actually try to get a contract for it. So I personally find it best to consider my suggestions to Logos to be an exercise in patience ... which luckily is a Christian virtue.
Put another way, we sometimes hear from product managers that they are currently trying to get particular resources but as a rule of thumb don't expect to hear anything until it appears in prepub or community pricing.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I, too, would be interested in seeing this available in Logos.

I agree that J. Sidlow Baxter's books are valuable for Bible study. I met him in person and heard him speak for a week at the Highland Park Baptist Church when it was still in Highland Park, a city inside the city of Detroit, Michigan. I bought all the books he had available at that time directly from the author. He even autographed my Bible. The thing I remember most about his speaking is that he used a very wide vocabulary, and deeply honored the Bible and our Lord Jesus Christ in his speaking. Besides Explore the Book, he has other volumes, one whose title I like is His Part and Ours. That was many years ago now when I was a newly saved teenager.

This would be a wonderful addition to Logos. One of my favorite books.
From a programming perspective, they may have more trouble adding this book to Logos because of Sidlow Baxter's use of Roman numerals for scripture references...

How did you do that? I have Explore The Book in PC Study Bible - but since I now use Mac, it won't work and I would love to have it to use if that is possible.
