BUG Personal Book [[@BibleDR:Psalms 1:7]] The DR, The Holy Bible Translated from the Latin Vulgate,

That is available in Logos is the version of the Douay-Rheims Bible revised by Richard Challoner.

There is no verse Psalm 1 Verse 7:

3 And he shall be like a tree which is planted near the running waters, which shall bring forth its fruit, in due season. And his leaf shall not fall off: and all whatsoever he shall do shall prosper.

4 Not so the wicked, not so: but like the dust, which the wind driveth from the face of the earth.

5 Therefore the wicked shall not rise again in judgment: nor sinners in the council of the just.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the just: and the way of the wicked shall perish.

But in the DOUAY RHEIMS of 1609 there is a verse 7

3 And he shall be as a tree, that is planted nigh to (f) the streams of waters, which shall give his fruit in his time:

4 And (g) his leaf shall not fall: and (h) all things whatsoever he shall do, shall prosper.

5 The impious not so: but (i) as dust, which the wind driveth from the face of the earth.

6 Therefore the impious shall (k) not rise again in judgment: nor sinners in the (l) Council of the just

As Verse 3 [in the Challoner version] is split into two verses in the 1609 version causing one more verse in that Psalm.

BUT the DR versification does not recognize Psalm 1:7 [[@BibleDR:Psalms 1:7]]

Noticed none of the Logos verse maps => http://wiki.logos.com/Bible_Verse_Maps#Psalm have Psalm 1:7 along with DR often having more verses in Psalms.

maybe I have less experience here, but since the Logos-delivered edition of DR is the Challoner revision, I'd actually expect the versification to be consistent with this edition, so this is not a bug, but the necessary condition for the DR to flow along other bibles, link to commentaries etc. No bug to be seen.

What I understand from your post and KS4J's reply is that there is currently no versification that resembles DR edition 1609 in Ps 1 - which is sad since you could use it for PBs that cite this edition or even make one yourself. But other than asking Logos to make available such a versification (and talk about it) there's not much one can do, I suppose.

Maybe Logos could supply incomplete versification data for such cases, since I assume they won't make complete ones for bibles they don't offer.

Yes, this is a BUG. But it was Richard Challoner that goofed not Logos!

I can force it to print correctly and also force it to match the related verses with other Bibles. Some work but I want the original version so I do the work

Got it working (sample text to show that it does work) and a sample of the docx file to show how done.

As Compiled: DR of 1609 x The standard KJV verse number (X) the DR verse number

1 (1) BLESSED (a) is the man, that hath not gone in the counsel of the impious, & hath (b) not stood in the way of sinners, and hath (d) not sit in the chair of pestilence:

2 (2) But (e) his will is the way of our Lord, and in his law he will meditate day and night.

There is a hard paragraph mark before the (4) in verse 3. That puts two DR 1609 verses in one verse of the compiled Bible – verse 3 then 5 is 4 6 is 5 and 7 is 6 and linking to anything else come out OK.
