QUESTION: Septuagint with Logos Morphology (Alternate Texts)

The Septuagint with Logos Morphology has an interlinear. I just discovered the Septuagint with Logos Morphology (Alternate Texts) does not. The upgrade pages clearly say there should be one (well, as clear as it can be when Logos insists on using different titles on the web and in the software...).

Is this something we are still waiting for, or do I have yet another (Mac?) bug? If we're all waiting: has any time frame been mentioned?

Good question (the windows version is also missing the interlinear for the alt-text). Didn't Rick say this was coming in 2013? (I could easily be wrong).

The Swete alt-text does have the interlinear but I think Rick mentioned a delay on the Logos one?

The resource you are looking for is: "The Lexham Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint, Alternate Texts". This has been around for a few years.

The Swete interlinears include the name "Swete" in the title.

Looks like the answer is 'no'. (no matching interlinear view for the Septuagint with Logos Morphology (Alternate Texts)). Obviously the database is (almost) there.

Probably the hebrew/greek lookups for BWS would get all mixed up, if there was an interlinear view? It certainly confuses students, so maybe the computer too.

'Alternatively' Theodotian left instructions in his LXX will never to allow an interlinear view. That could be it.

Or, that 'evil' genius George paid Logos off to not show an interlinear view of the database already built. That might be it.

Or, Theodotian forgot to provide a hebrew translation to the Theodotian text. He WAS known to be forgetful.

Or maybe, when Logos bought the rights to the interlinear button, it only allowed so many uses. That HAS to be it.

Actually, the answer is "yes"; it is the Lexham Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint, Alternate Texts. The Lexham Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint (both resources) cover the same text (Rahlfs) as "Septuagint with Logos Morphology" and "Septuagint with Logos Morphology (Alternate Texts)."

Eh? Like Denise points out, the Septuagint with Logos Morphology is Greek-Hebrew. A bit hard to replace that with a Greek-English one, don't you think?

The "Septuagint with Logos Morphology (Alternate Texts)" (Rahlfs' edition) now has a reverse interlinear for the relevant portions, and it has been released.

Thanks, Rick. I've been thinking of bumping this again for a long time, but a papal resignation got in the way, so you beat me to it.[:)]

To make me even happier I found that the RI ribbon now responds to the font slider. Didn't know that issue had been fixed.

But you need to make up your mind if it's 'With' or 'with'. You use 'With' on the title page, but 'with' in the metadata.[;)]

They are both me. I have two accounts, one personal and one as a Logos employee. Basically, you can tell whether I'm at the office, or at home, by the accounts.
