Crash while working offline

2. Start the software.

3. Software loads then crashes.

Able to load a blank layout while working offline.

Deleted all the log files, and after the next crash, only Logos Log file is present in the directory.

Does this mean it doesn't crash all the time with your Internet Off?

The log file has no crash information. The last step shows that the network became available, so I'd like you to repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 and upload all available logs after a crash.

Logos 5 has crashed for me when offline as well, although not yet when I have a network connection. I only noted it crashed if I started with a Web connection and then put the computer into Hibernate and restarted the computer on a plane without an Internet connection. I figured I could forgive Logos for this, since I created a confusing situation for it.

Went offline, closed the software.

Started the software while offline opening the last layout, with just one Bible.

Opened a previous layout which seemed to be causing the crash.

Program crashes.

It is stable if I open a blank layout. Seems as if the layout was causing the problem.

Harry has given a good example of what can trigger a crash. If I turn off the internet, while the software is running, or lose connectivity, then I will most likely suffer a crash.

Went offline and was able to continue to work.

Closed the software and restarted by selecting work offline

Opened a book after Logos loaded the last layout.

Tried to open another layout from earlier today, and crash.

8078.awesomium.log

The only other log file is the logos file. No crash file, even though I enabled diagnostic logging on a permanent basis.

Unfortunately, some layouts can cause a crash and with nothing to diagnose the problem I would suggest:-

redo the layout; or
see if Logos Support can help by logging onto your computer

I saw that you contacted us on the 22 of December. I dont see any notes after it was requested you create and send logs to the rep you were corresponding there. If you still have that email please send the logs and we can see what is going on, or give us a call.
