Classic Studies on the Apostolic Fathers (29 vols.) I bid $40.
Another collection with old books: Text and Studies: Contributions to Biblical and Patristic Literature (29 vols.) I bid $50.
Something that can be of use when reading old books: English Bible Collection (27 vols.) I bid $50. I recommend no bidding below $40 or it's going to take forever for it to be released. This collection used to have much fewer Bibles and many of the bids are from that time, so people placed low bids back then, then Logos added Bibles to the collection. I recommend the 1866 Common English Version New Testament, it's about the only NT version made by a team of scholars from the Textus Receptus or the Majority Text, in fairly modern English, I have it as printed matter and prefer it over the NKJV. I don't have the latter.

For the most part I agree, but when bidding you do have figure price per volume.

Something with 40 for more volumes is gonna cost more then something with one or two volumes![;)]

Boardman, I've been monitoring the progress and it hasn't moved up, it has actually went down a millimeters during 2012. There is so much competition in Bible versions already.

Memory is not quite what it used to be, but I seem to recall it went down when the cost of production increased because they added a number of additional Bible versions to this collection after it had been listed for as while....

The collection contains some of the very early transations into English (and early American updates of the KJV) and provides an opportunity to look at how we have changed the way we express ourselves in this language over the centuries. This can easily lead you to speculate as to whether some of the manuscripts were similarly "updated" into more "modern" language when older versions had deteriorated and were requiring renewal (as opposed to scribes several centuries or even a a thousand years later restricting themselves to merely doing as exact a copy of the original as they could). Would be interesting to see what might result if scribes today in Africa, Australia, England, India and the United States were each given a copy of the Coverdale Bible to "hand copy."

For me, the Authors in the Incarnation dont interest me at all ,but the ones in the Atonement do. I also bidded for Parables and might have to give that a second look along with Eschatology.

I can understand why some CP resources take a long time to gather interest but it surprises me that the Classic Commentaries in Psalms has spent so long gathering interest.

This is one of those rare occurances where the cost per volume will be less than $1. I'm happy with that, but it also means that many more people are required to hop on the bandwagon to get across the threshold. Even so, I agree, I would have expected more to be interested by this point.

If the peak on this had been $40 instead of $30, we'd be reading the commentaries by now. But I'm not complaining...I never wanted all of these to come out at the same time anyway. They are priced well, but I still had to pass up many of them because they came out in big clumps that I couldn't afford all at once. Fortunately, I was able to pick up the ones I missed during the year-end sale. I now have all of the CCCs except for the three not published yet.
