Upgraded to Logos 5 (minimal crossgrade). Indexer keeps crashing whenever I start up Logos 5. I've attached the logs, can anyone help. Thanks
Now it goes from bad to worse. I tried deleting the library index folder and rebuilding the index, which appeared to work with the indexer firing up as normal, however after 5 mins this caused the PC to shut down. Rebooted and tried again with same outcome, PC shuts down. Here are the logs, any ideas (my PC never crashed under Logos 4)

thanks
The Indexer is having problems opening the NRSV Apocrypha Interlinear dataset (NRSVAPOC.lbsrvi). Delete it from the resources folder** and then restart Logos, but first restart the computer and do not open any other applications.

Thanks for your help. I checked the Resources folder but NRSVAPOC is not present. Tried to update via Logos which told me "No updates available". Now my PC shuts down whenever Indexer is running, I need to disable LogosIndexer via Task Manager every time I boot up to prevent it shutting down. Any other ideas?
Did you purchase the NRSV Apocrypha Reverse Interlinear? If so that file should be in the resources folder. Enter update resources in the Command box at the top of the window and it should download and index.
No, I have never purchased the NRSV Apocrypha Reverse Interlinear, so I do not understand why the Indexer is looking for it. Entering "update resources" results in an "No updates available" message. Any other ideas?

Contact Logos Customer Support because you have the NRSV but the Indexer is expecting to find the NRSV Apocrypha Reverse Interlinear file.
I uninstalled Logos 5 to do a reinstall but cannot find the basic Logos5setup download. is it available yet?
It is not generally available - i.e. Logos hasn't posted it somewhere for everyone to access - but as a "paid up customer" you should be able to find a link in a couple of places:
Hope these give you what you need

OK, found the Logos 5 setup download. However after a complete reinstall and download (6GBs worth) same problem happens, indexing causes my PC to shut down. Guess I'll need to leave it to Logos Technical Support to sort out. Sadly, not a great introduction to Logos 5.

It isn't. Please report what Support found.

Thanks Bradley, I hadn't thought about that given that I've got a quad core cpu (AMD Phenom X4 2.8Ghz) with 8GB of RAM. Anyway I've investigated the diagnostics and it looks like you could be correct. I sat watching the Resource Monitor during Indexing, the RAM peaked out at 23% so no issue there however the 4 cores were up to 90% immediately before the PC shutdown so I guess the Indexer must be overloading the system. I'm disappointed as I assumed a PC less than two years old would be able to cope with Logos 5. What kind of system specs do you recommend for running Logos 5?

The real problem is the internal cooling or the heat sensor. Just direct a household fan at the computer when indexing (one user put his in a cold garage!).
Fixed. Main culprit was build up of dust in CPU fan, cleaned out and now running 10 degrees cooler and able to complete full index. Now to explore Logos 5 more fully.
That's great!
