Should I install now or wait?

I purchased the upgrade to Logos 4 and received my DVD today.  The DVD has Logos Windows 4 SR-5 and Mac 4.0 Pre-Release Alpha 4 on it.

I'm currently using Logos 1.2.2 on my MacBook with Snow Leopard.  I have Windows 7 installed on a Boot Camp partition but have not installed the Windows version of Logos yet.

I'd like to wait until Logos 4.0 for Mac and Windows goes final before I install them.  I'm wondering if I will need another DVD later on if I decide to wait for the final versions?  Or, will there be some way to download updates?

I'm wonder if I'm causing more work later on by not installing the Beta and Alpha now and install updates as they are released?

Also, I have resources that I purchased direct from publishers other than Logos.  (MacArthur Bible Study Library and Standard Publishing Bible Study outlines and Lesson commentary)   Will the new version of Logos 4 be able to discover all my resources and import them?  Thanks for the help.

L4win is a final version minus a few L3 features that will be integrated through early next year.

All of these, when installed from the DVD, will download the updates just like Windows, Mac, and other modern software that gets automated updated from the web.  So waiting wont matter, you will just get the most current update at the time you install.
