Update just upgraded me to 3.0g. I assume this a compatibility upgrade to be able to use the new resources which are converted from L4 for use in L3. I did a search for 3.0g here and didn't find anything.
So, is 3.0g just for compatibility?

I think that 3.0g is an update with some Windows 7 fixes and some other minor issue fixes.
Hi Gerry, you can call it that, checkout the Logos blog (http://blog.logos.com/) for today which explains it better then I could. I ran the upgrade for v3 from the blog to get my crossgrade resources available within v3.

I noticed something remarkably different about Logos 3.0g. In the past we had to shut down & restart Logos to recognize a newly acquired resource. Not so anymore! I had begun downloading new resources from the ftp server with the Logos 3.0g library pane open. The library list updated on the fly! This made for very fast downloading.
I couldn't believe it when I got your post but it is confirmed now. Just copied over some files from the ftp server and about 5 sec later they were in my 3.0g Library list...Wahoo [<:o)]
