After upgrading to Logos5, when trying to launch, all I got is a crash after hearing the startup sound with a grey window coming and shrinking, then crash. Here is the archive log.

You are getting the "too many open files" crash discussed in http://community.logos.com/forums/p/62091/439642.aspx and elsewhere.
There is a fix for this in 5.0b (which is currently in beta) but I appreciate that doesn't help much at the moment!
Can you try opening L5 to a blank layout and see what happens then?
