“You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”” (Revelation 5:10,)
Do we reign on the earth or over the earth? Many of my translations use "on" but some use "over". From my understanding "epi" that is coupled with the genitive is suppose to be translated "over".

However, here we have epi translated with earth in the gen. and the best translation seems to be "on"
“may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10,)
Here it is said that when it is with the genitive it i emphasizes contact
'ἐπί preposition with a basic meaning on, but with a wide range of meanings according to the context; I. with the genitive emphasizing contact; (1) in answer to "where?" on (LU 2.14);"
