Since Logos does not have a sermon writing tool I was wondering what do you all use to write your sermons?
MS Word

MindNode.
Me, too; though I have a sort of structured way I go about it, beginning with pasting the passage from Logos into the Word doc and formatting it "just so."

Because of this, and the way I operate technologically, I'm a disorganized mess right now.
1. As I research and study in Logos, I make notes to a note file specific to the sermon I'm preparing.
2. As other things come to mind (connections, illustrations, etc.)--stuff outside of the Logos system--I make a document file in Google Docs to keep track of my notes. I eventually form an outline in this Google Doc.
3. I create another Google Doc or two for drafting of the manuscript.

I'd love to have a workflow that stays in Logos. But I find that I fight with it so much that I have to pull stuff out to remain sane.
I'm considering including Evernote in my prep. I think it might be a nicer way to unify the note-taking process.

MS Word as well.

I develop my sermon in MS-Word and then e-mail it to the kindle app on either my iPad or Nexus 7 and preach from either tablet ...
Form and structure in Scrivener. Compile (export) out of Scrivener to docx (MS Word) to polish. Then, place in InDesign to add TOC and proper links; then, export to epub. Then, copy to iTunes - Books to open in iBooks to use in pulpit.
I use Mindjet Mindmanager to create my outline, and then export it to a Word file for printing and use in the pulpit.
I'm another one with MS Word but I wish there was a better option.
I use MS Word, however I rely on layered headings.
In this way I can make a heading and drag the heading and text below to a new area of the document.
In MS Word click on view and then navagation pane.
This allows me to place an idea or train of thought as a heading and then easily move them about.
I also cite any quotes or sources in a footnote so I am able to find my source at a later date.
I use a template based on the work of Dr. Lloyd Perry that I created for LibreOffice for most of my sermons.
Here is another thread where I posted a sample of the Word template I use

MS Word. Make PDF for posting along with MP3 recording. Also, save Word file as plain text to Dropbox, import text file into Teleprompt+ on the iPad for preaching.
