BUG: Yet another lingering popup (clause search)
1) Go to Clause Search.
2) Switch from Greek to Hebrew, or the other way around.
3) A resource info popup appears, and won't go away again.
Workaround: open and close the dropdown a second time, without changing anything.
(Why do we need these popups at all? There's only two resources to choose between.)
Mac Pro (late 2013) OS 12.6.2

As Graham hinted, this is a persistent Mac display issue with many (most) popups. Usually, just click the Menu bar and the popup will go away. Perhaps, development will fix this mess soon.
I know popup bugs are likely to be Mac specific.
Just reread your original post. Seems I had a different type of lingering popup in mind with my initial response. Did not notice that you were speaking of "resource" popup. When following your steps, received the persistent resource popup as you did, but it usually went away with movement of the mouse. Sometimes, it required a click as well as movement. Was not previously aware of this type of lingering popup; will need to watch more carefully in the future.

This is fixed in 5.0b RC 2. There were various persistent popups fixed in RC 1 and RC 2, so it is possible that this was fixed in 5.0b RC 1. This will be fixed in general when 5.0b ships to the stable channel.
The persistent popup in Syntax search is also fixed in 5.0b RC 2.
Noticed same behavior for Syntax Search.
