Logos 5 Stopped Working on Macbook Pro

I ran the latest update for Logos 5 yesterday and now Logos will not run. It opens but they stops responding. The book titles that are open are blank. When I try to do anything, the application does not respond.

I am not sure that the update caused the problem or if it is unrelated.

I am running Logos 5.0a SR-3 (5.0.1.0278).

I have a 2012 Macbook Pro Retina with OS X 10.8.2.

I am not sure what to do to get Logos running again and would really appreciate some help.

First enable diagnostic logging (read carefully + read how to upload logs)

Then see if you can start and use a blank layout. Then begin to use use resources or load a different layout to normal.

If Logos crashes upload the compressed logging folder as per the wiki.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the program. The quickest way to get this sorted might be to contact customer support on the phone. When I do this from the UK I use Skype to keep the costs down.

It will be pretty much impossible for anyone her to give you much help unless you post logs that can be looked at to see what is happening.

One thing you might try in opening the program to a blank layout (Open L5 and immediately press and hold the command key) and then rebuilding your layout.

G'day Dave. Have you let the indexing complete after the upgrade? I'm running L5 on an 11" MBA and from memory it took a while to complete the indexing. Hope this helps. One thing, you will enjoy a noticeable speed increase from L4 Mac.

For unexplainable reasons, it just started working again. Strange. I had rebooted a few times and it did not seem to fix the problem. Now it works.
