I was importing my notes from L3, and L4 crashed. Here is the crash report. I turned logging off when I import notes to speed up the process. Therefore, I do not have the log file.
3000.Logos4Crash.txt
Did you Prep them as per http://wiki.logos.com/Importing_Notes_from_LDLS3?
If you are wondering about the time difference with logging turned on and when logging is turned off. The program imports my notes in about 20 minutes or so when logging is turned off. Because I turned it on because of this bug, the program has been importing my notes for over seven hours, and it is only about 1/3 of the way through my notes.
I got smart (please do not let this get out to the general public) this morning. Instead of reproducing this bug while importing all of my notes. I moved the note files that did not have any problems to a temp spot so that I could just import the file that is causing the crash. Here are the log files from this import:
2110.Logos4.log
6428.Logos4Crash.txt
1067.Logos4Error.log
I did send the problem file to Logos4Feedback@logos.com
Thanks for sending that file, Tom. I am able to replicate the crash you are seeing. It looks like there is some bad formatting in that particular note. I'm looking at fixing the crash for L4 and L5. Until that fix is available, I think you might be able to get around the problem by editing the note in L3 (assuming you have that available).
Find the text "for Davidic kings in Jerusalem." Delete all the spaces immediately after that text. Do the same right after the text "priestly order of Melchizedek." That should delete the formatting that is causing the problem.

Thanks. While you are updating the import process, can you please change the note icon colors for some of the notes. Several colors are updated to yellow (for example silver, no color, and gray) are also set to yellow along with yellow. thanks
assuming you have that available
I still use L3 for notes because it is easier to use notes in L3. Here are two screen prints:
Note before import:
Note after import:
Here you can see the note icon being changed from silver to yellow. That wouldn't be a problem if other notes were also being changed from their color to yellow (and let us not forget that one of the standard colors were yellow.
You can also see how new notes are not imported into the correct spot into the file (and thus I have to delete all of my notes in Logos every now and then and re-import them).
You can also see that the hyperlink for scripture is also not imported.
You can also see the reason why it is easier to read notes in L3 comes from the fact that a lot of the formatting is lost.
It is my understanding that a new text editor will be coming. Because of this, please do not spend a lot of time fixing the import process for the current editor.
*** Please, when the new text editor comes out, also fix the import process so that I can use my notes in L5. ***
If you need someone to help alpha/beta test the new text editor, I can.
