The morph search feature simply is not processing. I've tried two computers. It won't let me narrow down my resources, and won't produce the analysis. Here is the permanent state of limbo it keeps me in:
okay, 334 seconds later I received the analysis. Not the fastest in the world. Presumably if I keep Logos up for over five minutes without switching windows I could limit my search too.
all resources in analysis view... that's a lot of information.
Let me be clearer--it's not permitting me to narrow down the resources that are being searched--this stays in permanent limbo, forcing me to search everything.
It's taking a long time for the option below to populate:
can you use the right mouse on say the ESV and search this resource for a word? Then move to the aligned view? That may help clear your problem.

The drop down list for the "Search In" field does take an inexcusably long time to populate. You might try to start typing the name of the target resource in the field. This normally forces the list to populate more quickly. For example, I typed esv in the field, and the ESV appeared almost immediately. After that, the list seems to populate more quickly—for that session, at least.

That wasn't working for me either, so I just kept it up and returned to the computer later, at which point it had populated, and then saved it as a Layout.
Not the most idea solution, but at least it's something I can work around.
Yes, that worked too. That's a good workaround for the problem, though I hope they fix it.
I can't get it to fail - English interlinear or Greek. What are you top Bibles? I'd like to replicate your search more precisely.
Might be time to cull some bible/morph resources e.g. I hid all the Targums "bibles" some time ago for this very reason. Alternatively you have a lot of Collections with bibles (even one bible in a large collection of resources).

Or better yet, time for Logos to recognize a weakness in their approach to populating this dropdown and come up with a solution which addresses the scenarios which could make this take "forever."
But in the meantime, yes...

I have been advocating since early Logos 4 betas that Logos save this type of information on a user's computer. For an individual's computer, the list of "Bibles", "Bible tagged with Logos Greek Morphology", "Greek Lexicons", and even the list of books in the whole library is fixed. Only when there is an update or a resource is hidden should this list be changed.
There is a similar problem with Parallel Resources, which also popular slowly. It took 20 second to create a list of Parallel Resources for a Spanish Bible. In the end all it did was list all of my Bibles in various languages. Surely it is not necessary to look through the Library to make a list of resources that are tagged Bible and then look to see which ones actually have a book called "John"! To be fair, this performance has improved over the past 2 years and it appears that Logos caches the information for a user's session at least. But from time to time, it is unbelievably slow at creating such lists.
This type of small thing contributes to a perception that Logos is slow. It seriously interrupts the thinking process that happens in research. The longer you have to wait, the more likely you are to lose your train of thought.
How many bible/morph resources do you have?
How many collections with bibles?
