Upgraded to 4 reverted to 3 (import some features)

I upgraded to platinum from 3.0 gold. I am now reverting back to the 3.0 and importing my books.

The thing I loved the best from version 4 was the information window pane. Is there anyway I can get the information window from version 4 to work in version 3.

Maybe there is a file from version 4 that I can import into my version 3 folder ?? Would be great......

I will go back to using version 4 when the passage guide is fixed so my commentaries link right with the passage I type...

Just looking for a way to use version 3 to the fullest until 4 is fixed...

As an FYI - you can create a collection and add that to a customized Passage Guide and have that Guide link with the passage you type.

no, you cannot pick parts of L4 and import them into L3. They operate on two different code bases.

Yea, I know that, I have a problem when I type John 1:4 in the passage guide... It does not go to my scripture reference but the introduction to that chapter, I can get more study done in version 3 in the same amount of time... 3 actually links to the right passage in my commentary, saves me a lot of time weeding through what I have already read..

That is what I was wondering... I did not know if the stuff that was coded was interchangeable... Well worth a shot... I will just run them side by side until the linking gets fixed in the passage guide on version 4.

You already know the answer from other posters. And you probably already know about the Information window in L3.

Right click on something that has a link, right-click, & in popup window pick Display Information. An Info Window pops up. Now, for whatever you've set your keylinks to display you'll get the info shown in the Info window when you mouse over a hotlink. This is as close as L3 has...

Finally, I was a beta tester & love L4. Yet as much fun as I have in L4, I still find myself reverting to L3 every time I'm on deadline... Yet like you I see the promise. Hang in there...
