NIV not working on Android

I recently tried to view/download the NIV84 and the new NIV on my wife's Samsung Galaxy tablet, but neither will display on it.  The message I get is "An unknown error occurred opening resource."  This occurs if the resource is downloaded or not.  Is anyone else experiencing this on Android devices?  Both resources work fine on the PC and on my ipod.

    NIV84 works on my Nexus 7 tablet with Android.

    QLinks, Bibl2, LLR, Macros
    Dell Insp 17-5748, i5, 1.7 GHz, 8G RAM, win 8.1

    I had the same problem with NIV84 on my Toshiba Thrive. An uninstall and reinstall of the app did the trick nicely. It took a few tries over a period of three months to get a build that didn't have the same problem. This one shows signs of promise.

    Now I'm working on uninstalling the app on my LG Optimus Elite smart phone, but am finding the uninstall itself difficult. Maybe there's an answer to that in this forum. . .
