Missing Resources Alpha 5

I have alpha 5 and many resources are missing. I have had alpha 4, then 5, fully downloaded (along with several updates), and indexed. Still gone.

In particular, I noticed that the "New Bible Commentary" was not there.

What's up?

My "New Bible Commentary" edited by Carson is included in my Mac resources. Is that the one you are talking about?

For all resources that were designed for L3 it is necessary to first install them into L3 (or I guess you could install it into Mac 1.2.2. also) and then synchronize the licenses before L4 will download it.

That would be the first thing I would recommend looking at.

Thanks, Russ. That is the correct resource. There are a few other missing resources as well. For example, I have the IVP Bible Background Commentary that I purchased from IVP directly. My Mac downloaded the New Testament portion and its in my library, but the OT volume is not there. Strange.

I have used Logos 3 for PC for years and just bought a Macbook Pro.

I have Logos 4 on my PC, and it says I have 520 resources. On my Mac, it says 410. The forum says to make sure I've downloaded all available updates and indexed, which I have done.

Any other thoughts? Thanks again for you help!

The IVP OT Background Commentary shows up in my L4 for Mac install as well.

One reason I might have them though is that I did allow the Mac version to download the resources initially.

My install process was as follows:

I installed L4 in Windows and allowed it to do all of its downloading and indexing
I installed L4 in OS X but then cancelled the download after it started.
I copied all the directories and files in the \Logos4\Data\{random}\ directory from my Windows installation to an external hard drive.In Windows 7 the path is C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\{random.num}\ (note that AppData is hidden by default). In XP, it is somewhere in the Documents and Settings folder.
I copied the entire directory to the corresponding location on my Mac install which is username/Library/Application Support/Logos 4/Data/{random.num}/
I started L4 in Mac and it went through a organizing library step but it did not download or reindex

This might be overkill. Might be worth searching for a simpler solution. That is the explanation, though, of why I have those references in my Mac install.
