Running L4 and L3 simultaneously

Is running both L4 and L3 at the same time possible? Is there anything between the two programs that would "clash" if they were both running? I just got a new computer (Intel Core i7-920 processor, 1TB 7200 SATA hard drive, 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics card, 12 GB DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM), which I think has enough power to run both, but wondering about their compatibility running together.

Yes.

I have done this many times. With your setup it should be no problem at all (trying not to covet here).

You have more then enough horsepower to not miss a beat with either one, I run both Logos4 and V3 on my Pentium 4 with 3 GB RAM. There should not be a compatibility issue, they are two different engines... the only slowness I have is with Logos4 Notes, other then that I"ve not had a crash or anyother problems running both versions of the software.

I was thinking of getting a similar computer, same processor (I think it's a quad, right?), but with slightly smaller RAM and graphics.

Not sure about the "quad" part, but I think the Core i7 is the next step up from the Core 2 quad processor. (I tried to do my research on this!). The timing was fortunate with my old computer dying and then L4 coming out with increased performance needs. This is an HP from good ol' Costo and I'm having lots of fun with it!

Yes the i7 is a quad core with some extra multithreading functionality. I've got one too, and Logos4 hums along enjoying the ride.

Install both. Libronix and Logos 4 leave each other alone when you install them except that the last one to be installed will execute the hyperlinks you may have embedded in documents.
