Downloaded books and new versions

It was mentioned in previous posts that you-have to download all library books with new versions. How often will there be new versions and is there no way that yr library could be saved. This becomes costly in our country where we pay per Gig download.

    Unfortunately there is no simple answer. Some resources rarely change. Others have more tags (Bibles, Commentaries) that are affected by new features - they change more frequently. The mix of your library between the resource types makes a big difference. What you can do is go to Tools-->Program settings-->Internet and set automatic downloads off. This will allow you a bit of control on when you use your download band width.

    Gaby, I have approx 50 books downloaded, the only thing I get is occasional updates, I havent hit this issue on my Android.

    The only thing I am aware of, that can cause this is if you unistall old app before installing updated one, don't uninstall it or you will lose downloads, just install update over top and they remain.. atleast in my experience this is what happens
