Another Small Bug

I use the Horner reading plan and like to put my bookmark on verse 1 of the next chapter when it appears near the bottom of my screen. I found that if the next chapter starts near the top of my screen it is easy to swipe up and then use the right arrow to get to the first verse of the next chapter before adding it as a favorite. I thought that if the chapter break was near the bottom of the page I could just turn the page and do the same thing, but by going backwards.
I found that when I swipe up I cannot go back from the present verse. Is this by design or is this a bug? I realize that there are other ways to get to the first verse of a chapter, but this would be a very easy way to do it.
