I created a custom passage guide that included 4 different user "collections" Unfortunately those collections keep defaulting to "entire library".
Anyone else having this problem?
Are you sure you made the collection correctly? Take a snapshot of what each collection screen looks looks and post it.
Not sure what you mean, but I manually add all titles to my collections. (still can't quite figure out the "how to" of all the stytax stuff)
Just as you took a screenshot (I think you did at least) of your passage guide, take one of Tools: Collections so we can figure out if you have accidentally added all of your books to one collection. Make sure you don't have anything under "Start with resources matching" in your collection.
What exactly is in this collection?
Jeremiah,
I THINK he means take a shot of one of these "failed" collections so he can get a better idea of what's wrong.
When you say "i add resources manually" do you mean you "drag them to the "include these" and "exculde these" boxes?
Here is what a collection looks like with the "rules based" syntax. The syntax is "subject: bible-handbooks" and you can see the resulting collection is 8 of my resources.
Is this what yours look like?
Jeremiah...
OR do you mean "after I assign a particular collection in the passage guide; the passage guide section that was for a particular collection, now reverts that section to the "entire library" collection.?
If that's the case; did you create this PG by going to "create a new PG?
