I am doing a little reading on the "Federal Vision controversy" and wondered what resources may be found in Logos. I wondered if these two collections might be relative:

The Collected Works of John M. Frame

Douglas Wilson Collection

Are there others in Logos? I have read a bit of Gary North & R.J. Rushdoony Times like these a fellow could make use of doctrinal warning labels. Devil

In case anyone searches the forums on this subject. Yes, the two collections above will give some perspective on the subject. I also found Themelios covered it in Vol 33, issue #2 and Vol 34, issue #2. New Perspectives on Paul (justification) by Tom Wright also sheds some light on it.

Other terms used to describe the Federal Vision controversy are Neo-nominism, Covenant Nominism, Hyper-Covenantism, the Auburn Theology.

Frame is not in the FV camp but Wilson is. See also Leithart. He is in the camp. You mentioned Wright, he is more of a New Perspective guy. The differing names you mention also have their subtle differences. E. P. Sanders started the ball rolling back in the 70's but his work is not available in Logos. James Dunn is another father of this justification issue. Unfortunately most of the works refuting the error are not available in Logos. Jeffery Meyers and Steve Wilkins are also among those espousing this doctrine and have books available in this collection.

Kudos to you for undertaking this task. The justification controversy in the church today is all too often ignored unfortunately.

Sh-h-h-h. If you a) pretend it is not really there or, b) assume that it is okay for it to be there, then it's not really a problem, is it?

Thanks to both of you. I am reading up on all perspectives. This has been sufficiently swept under the rug, at least in my circles, to have eluded my focus. That is why my sudden interest.
