Are the Spanish products available in Logos 4 right now? I can see the old Libronix symbol on the base packages on the website, but didn't see where it specified LDLS3 or Logos4.
We have not released Logos 4 for Spanish yet. We've just started work on the Spanish versions, but it will take some time to translate the various new L4 resources.
I can say that Libronix resources work in L4.
I can't say whether there are any Spanish language versions of L4, or any Spanish resource packages available in L4, but it doesn't look like it. Bob said that they will be working on foreign language versions of L4, and that Spanish will be the first. So maybe Libronix will continue to be the platform of choice for Spanish language sales for a while.
However, in the Spanish language forums, it seems some are using Logos4 already. Have you checked/asked there?
Thanks Sean. It's not a rush item for me, but I am beginning language school soon and would love L4 functionality on those Spanish resources.
Richard, thanks for the help. I don't read/write Spanish well enough yet to interact comfortably on the Spanish forums. I needed the English translation. [:D] Lord willing, I'll be functional soon (kind of like certain features of my favority Bible Study software).

You're welcome. BTW, there are some really good resources written by Spanish speakers that are available in Logos (as well as a lot of stuff written in English and translated into Spanish). I've really enjoyed reading my study passages in Spanish as well as in English, since I sometimes catch things in the original Greek that I missed by only reading in English (regardless of English version).
Blessings on learning Spanish. Remember that it will be the language of heaven, since it takes an eternity to master it. [;)]
That's the second time today Richard has had a better answer than me [:#]
If you have Logos 4 and own licenses to any Spanish resources, they should show up and work fine. What isn't ready yet is the full package: so no Spanish menus or help files, no Spanish translations of the Infographics, etc. But in general, all Libronix 3 resources work fine in Logos 4, including foreign language ones (my wife is using Luther's Bible in her devotional reading to help her in learning theological German).
Sean, don't be too hasty passing off the credit. I actually was curious about the whole ball of wax, including menus and infographics. It is good to know I can use the Spanish bibles and commentaries right now, though.
Thanks.
I've introduced probably about 15 Spanish speakers to Libronix (in Mexico) and they are getting great use out of it. I'm looking forward to being able to introduce them to Logos4. But this brings home the need for Logos4 to function without an internet connection as many of them will only very very rarely (if ever) have internet access on the computer Logos is installed on. I'm glad that it will work. But just got reminded of why it is so important to maintain relatively full functionality without internet access.
I hope we can have a Spanish interface very soon...
A Spanish interface was released with 4.0b.
From the release notes of one of the 4.0b Betas"Use command “uilang en” or “uilang es” to switch to English or Spanish UI. (Restart required)"
Mr. Scott,
Mr. Richard is right. My native language is Spanish, but I'm already using Logos 4. I guess you can say it is available in part -- all of my Spanish libronix resources were copied by L4 and since the interface is now available in Spanish it feels like I'm using L4 in Spanish. The only problem is that resources such as Biblical People, places and things have not been translated into Spanish yet. But for now, having Spanish resources and the interface in Spanish sure makes it feel like we actually have L4 in Spanish. I'm certainly looking forward for the full L4 version in Spanish, so whenever it comes out it will be well received in the Spanish market because Logos is definitely the Best Bible Software in the world. That's all! By the way, good luck with your language studies -- one free tip: Learn how to pronounce your vowels in Spanish, once you do that, connect your consonants with your vowels and you'll be able to read in Spanish even if you don't know what your saying. Example:
A -- as in father, E -- as in Pet, I -- as in Flee, O -- as in On, U -- as in Goose
Practice: La Biblia es la Palabra de Dios.
Alright, have a great day!
Hello. I have "Biblioteca Académica Bilingue" for logos Version 3 on my mac. I am also using L4 for the mac. I can say that the the spanish library has been a blessing to my life and my spiritual growth. The spanish library comes up fine in L4 for the mac. Thank you Logo Bible Software.
Scott, the Spanish Logos 4 collections are not available yet and won't be til probably the end of this year or the beginning of next. For those hispanics that can not wait we've prepared an upgrade that would allow them so see their spanish books with the english interface and entitles them to get the spanish interface and spanish info sets when released. For such hispanics this is the link:

Hope this answers your question?
