Because I don't know, do all of Athanasiu's writings appear in the NPNF 2.4 or are there other writings?
mm.
Migne's list of existent works:
Thanks MJ.
A couple of questions:
Great list though.
Migne collection has both Greek and Latin Translations of works. I think the PDF's are of the Greek side though... As one of the most influential Greek Fathers, many of his works have been translated into many Languages. The most extensive set of English translations of Athanasius of which I am aware are the 19th century ones in the Logos ECF set. That said, there are works that have been translated by others for various reasons.
Probably the most significant work that has been translated into English not in the ECF set are the letters to Serapion on the Holy Spirit.

you know that this is in Vyrso, I assume
@ MJ.
Are you sure it's in Vyrso. I can't locate it. Unless it's under a collection.
That's where I got mine:
But you seem to be right - I wonder when and why the title was pulled.
Too bad I missed this one!
I wonder when and why the title was pulled.
Amazon's product page says: This volume by a respected theologian offers fresh consideration of the work of famous fourth-century church father Athanasius, giving specific attention to his use of Scripture, his deployment of metaphysical categories, and the intersection between the two. Peter Leithart not only introduces Athanasius and his biblical theology but also puts Athanasius into dialogue with contemporary theologians. This volume launches the series Foundations of Theological Exegesis and Christian Spirituality.

I bought mine on Oct 4, 2011.
Clicking on the link from my orders page gets me to https://vyrso.com/product/13234/athanasius, but that's just a page that says "That is not a product we currently sell."
It was pulled when they included it in the Baker Academic Early Church Collection (14 vols.) (which, by the way, just went 'under development').
I wonder whether someone thought this to be too scholarly for Vyrso and needing reference links to the contemporary works - which means we can expect to see this at some point in time as a Logos resource. But then they ought to put this into prepub as soon as they do
See above.[:D]

I guess you never read my post in your earlier thread on Athanasius: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/65129/455625.aspx#455625.
Well it is a shame it is no longer available in VYRSO. I will have to buy it in a non Logos ebook format for under $20 rather than pay hundreds for the Baker set. This is not the type book that I have to have in Logos format to benefit me. I would pay some premium to have in Logos format, but nothing close to hundreds of dollars. Of course, I realize this is probably publisher issues. Too bad.

Michael,
it is to be hoped that some months after the collection shipped, they will break it up into individual volumes. I won't buy the collection either, but some titles look promising.
Mick
Wow! I kiss your feet. Thank you very much for this!
A decade later, Baker Academic Early Church Collection (22 vols.) expanded by 8 volumes, which includes Athanasius.
Keep Smiling [:)]
