Will Logos 4 ever have serial resource associations [as in Logos 3] whereby one can quickly navigate back and forth between the Hebrew and Greek texts?
They are built-in where they logically required - for series.
Arbitrarily assigned ones are not planned.
A normal Logos 4 workflow would achieve what you're wanting to do by having your bibles linked together in a link set; with both a hebrew and greek bible open a the same time (perhaps in the same pane?); this makes more sense in L4 where there is not the same performance hit from having many resources open simultaneously.
THANKS, Jon!
That was very helpful. It worked!
Jon, this is just not a satisfactory solution. The problem is that if you have a lot of linked resources for the OT / Hebrew passage you are studying, and then you accidently click on the Greek Bible tab, it will change all your linked resources to whatever scripture was last looked at Greek.
Plus screen real estate is valuable. I have so many resource tabs open as it is. It would be so useful and straightforward to be able to assign SRAs.
I don't why Logos is resisting doing something has always been so valuable.
In v3 I hadspecified SRA pairs for Hebrew OT & Greek NT, OT & NTInterlinears, Tanakh and Jewish NT, and my favorite OT Commentary withthe Jewish NT Commentary. I just can't do anything close to this withv4. Right now I have ended up having to make separate layouts for OT study and for NTstudy, but it realy limits my flexibility when jumping betweentestaments. PLEASE reconsider and give us SRAs soon.
I too really miss serial associations! Just having one table represent one Bible, both OT and NT, which can then be linked is a standard working situation, at least it was in L3. I typically have a least a couple Bibles open, each linked to and original language Bible, that's 4 panes, vs. 6 in L4. I really like L4 but these are some of the things that keeps it from becoming central in study (another is hyperlinking to citations, PDFs, word processing documents . . . that's another topic!)
Let's get L4 where it will do the things L3 can do and move on from there!
I agree. I don't have reverse interlinears and miss the associated word feature that would link NASB to NA26. That's about enough to make me go back to Libronix 3.0. It doesn't make much sense to have a new program do less...and slower.
PLEASE reconsider and give us SRAs soon.
Add it to http://logos.uservoice.com/ and see if others agree

In Logos 4 there is something called Sympathetic Highlighting. If you highlight a word in the NASB it will be highlighted in the NA27 as long as the NA27 is open to the same passage. I don't know if that feature works if you don't have the Reverse Interlinears.
No, Mark, it does not. Thanks
