I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but for some time now when I click on the "running" L4 from the task bar, it restores to a small window rather than a maximized window even though it was minimized as a maximized window. Any thoughts?

I don't get this behavior. Which Windows version are you using?
The last time you closed L4, did you close it from a maximized window, or from a non-maximized window? (Maybe Windows is remembering your previous settings, instead of your current one.)

I am using vista 64bit. No, I don't think that it is the way Vista is remembering because when it is maximized, I minimize it. Then I click on it from the task bar and it goes back to a "restored window" and not maximized.
The last time you closed L4 (not minimized, closed), was it full screen, or windowed? I ask because windows seems to remember the last size of screen you used when you last closed. So it could be remembering the wrong info. I don't know really. I'm just fishing for an explanation.
