Possible Bug/Improvement - Current Chapter Display in Commentary Navigation
First a possible bug... when I view a commentary on Android and wipe down to bring the input box which has the current Book + Chapter + Verse, sometimes when I am reading a commentary it does not display this but simply displays the page number of the commentary. It seems that when I start out at a book,chapter,verse in the commentary all is well for at least three or four page turns, but after that, only the page number is displayed in the input box...
Second, a suggestion... in the same input box there is an extra white space after the verse so I have to press the backspace/delete key more than necessary. This is trivial but an improvement nonetheless.

I do confirm that behavior.
- When opening the commentary from the passage guide it, displays the bible ref. After turning the page it shows the page number.
- You can type in a page number or bible reference and it will attempt to navigate to it.
- If it's a bible ref outside of that covered by the commentary, it opens your bible to that ref.
- if it's a ref on the same page it does nothing -- would be nice if it put that ref at the top of the screen (bibles & anything that takes a bible ref)
- in a bible: book and invalid chapter goes to chapter 1 - OK; book, chapter, and invalid verse goes to beginning of book - ???
- it doesn't open resources, i.e. typing NTSK won't open the New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
I'm curious, how many people use the address bar in these apps? Even if it were given powerful features like the command box in the desktop app, I find it awkward to use. On the desktop I'm a HUGE keyboard navigation junkie, but it's much more awkward and in the way on a tablet. I'd rather give that screen real estate to something else and rely on an improved verse picker / contents, and the library.
Is the address bar useful? Can it be made useful? Or should it go? (with all respect to the developers)

Just to clarify, this occurs in the "input box" that appears when you swipe "down" (not up) on a resource in the reading pane. Initially, the book+chapter+verse appears but after swiping "left" to turn the page a few times, the book+chapter+verse are no longer displayed but simply the page number of the resource in the reading pane is displayed in the input box.
You had mentioned an input box inside the passage guide but I was not referring to that.
As for the usefulness of the address bar, what "address bar" are you referring to? It is this input box I am speaking of? If so, I find it very useful. Here is a great example of its use: Say I am reading the Baker commentary on Luke. That sucker is HUGE! If I am at Luke 5:5 it might take 10 page turns to reach Luke 5:6. The simple solution (without having to navigate the TOC) is to swipe down and backspace to delete the 5 and enter a 6. Simple. In this example, using the TOC would also work but I dislike how I have to select "Lk" in the TOC in order to see the chapters because the only book this commentary covers is in fact Luke! It would make much more sense to remove this unnecessary step and just display the chapters when the table of contents was selected. If this were implemented, I would probably use the TOC selector over typing the verse into the input box. However, it might become more time consuming in multi-book commentaries.
