Hi!
The Logos installer/updater doesn't seem to handle Windows 8 more strict User Account Control (UAC) right.
When I try to update it gives me the following error message: "Error writing to file: C:\User\...\en-US\logos.exe.mui. Verify that you have access to that directory."
This happens in both of my computers, both having Win 8 Pro. If I disable the UAC manually (see http://www.eightforums.com/system-security/5160-tutorial-how-make-windows-8-understand-you-administrator.html ), the Logos 5.0b will install with no problems, but this tweak is not an option for average users (if you do that remember to enable it again after the update, needs to reboot after every change).
I hope this will be fixed soon.
