Haven't had problems with crash. After latest release download, Logos will load for about three seconds and then quit.

I mean, I haven't had problems with crashes before. But now, after the latest update, Logos will only load for about three seconds, and then nothing
Martin - try loading to a blank layout. If that doesn't work, you will need to enable and post logs.
How do you do that?
I'm having the same problem. It will say it is signing in then the application will close.
Please read the wiki about logging. It will also explain starting with a blank layout

Here are the logs for the crash. Apparently three files were generated.
4643.Logos.log
0184.LogosError.log
8037.LogosCrash.txt
I hope I did this right.
I've not seen that before ... new databases and an older program (didn't install?).
Martin - I would try downloading the latest engine and reinstalling. The Logos show a previous version… not 5.0b.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do I uninstall what I have? Where do I find the "latest engine"? How do I install it?
Do I uninstall what I have?
No. What I am talking about is just doing a reinstall of the engine. You won't have to worry about reindexing or anything like that.
Where do I find the "latest engine"?
I gave you a link to the wiki. There is a link to the PC installer there.
How do I install it?
I am a Mac user… but I assume you just download and click on it.
Here are my crash logs. Loading with a blank layout did not fix the problem. Would you also recommend reinstalling the engine?

Matthew - First, I forgot to welcome you to the forums! [:)]
Normally it is best to start a new thread since your issue may be different than someone else's… That is true in this case as well. I am not an expert in reading logs, but I think I have a solution for you. Your logs indicated a "malformed database." Please move the MobileResourcesSyncManager.db file to the desktop and restart Logos. If all works well, you can delete the file. The path to the file is listed below. NOTE: your user library is hidden by default. If you need help locating it, let me know.
Invalid database: /Users/Mat/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/e6tmqql0.hot/DeviceResourceManager/MobileResourcesSyncManager.db
Thank you that worked
Glad to help. [:)]
