I am looking for a Theological Workbook for the New Testament similar to the Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament (R. L. Harris, G. L. Archer, Jr. & B. K.) Does anyone have any good suggestions please?
Hi Werner,
I noticed in the description of the Wordbook that it is marketed to the "busy pastor" and so going on that I found that the following two lexicons also tout that characteristic (though they cover both Hebrew and Greek):
Vine, W. E., Merrill F. Unger and William White, Jr. Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words. Nashville, TN: T. Nelson, 1996.
Mounce, William D. Mounce’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old & New Testament Words. Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 2006.
Given that, I would not overlook Zodhiates either:
Zodhiates, Spiros. The Complete Word Study Dictionary: New Testament. electronic ed. Chattanooga, TN: AMG Publishers, 2000.
I'm sure others with more knowledge in this area than myself will elaborate further, so check back.
