Granted any other geology aficionados on the forum is highly unlikely.

My spouse is sufficiently kind to allow me the license plate with geology wording, which seems to attract other like kind, almost always of the male variety however.

But this volume is somewhat unique in spending quite a bit of time on the geology and associated plants of the area bounded by the Jezreel on the north and Benjamin on the south.

I also like the author, since he's very disciplined in not jumping to conclusions, and then climbing up on them for even more assumptions. Only $28 in Logos.

I'm a big believer in 'finding the water' and then 'finding the jobs' and then looking for the roads, to validate the past. (Map below is from Bible Mapper).

First time I saw this title I thought of  Ireland and Scotland. (Cheiftans & Highlands)  I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. It now holds a stronger allure for me. I was a rock-hound as a kid and gathered copper deposits from stream beds, collected volcanic rocks, and petrified wood.  I like history too.
