Having read a few selections from his Psalms commentary, I am interested, but I know very little about Goldingay.

How would others classify Goldingay's theological perspective?

Liberal/Conservative?

John Goldingay is a reformed Episcopalian who teaches at Fuller Seminary. His OT Theology is a great contribution to protestant Biblical Theology. I heartily recommend it. I would say he is conservative but there are more aggressive defenders of conservatism out there.

How would others classify Goldingay's theological perspective?

Just finished reading his commentary on Isaiah... I'd put him on the liberal side of conservative.... Uses all the tools, puts more weight on their findings than I think he should... but he's a "charismatic" (poetic?) writer, if his volume on Isaiah is any sample.
