I would like to find a logos resource that is a commentary that focuses on archeological discoveries. Can anyone recommend a resource that fits this description?
Others have earlier recommended the Archaeology Study Bible. But if limited to 'Logos' there's not a lot to work with (surprisingly since the Bible maps across a sizable time period). The main alternative is to use a CitedBy panel attached to an archaeology collection in your Logos. It won't do fully what you're wanting though (since it depends on an author citing the Bible text).
Probably the best resource is unfortunately not currently in Logos--NIV Archaeological Study Bible. While it's broader in scope and doesn't focus exclusively on archaeological discoveries, the Zondervan Background Commentary is outstanding. The previously mentioned archaeology bundle is here and is valuable because it contains Yale's two of three archaeology books which are standard reference works. It's not in Logos, but a popular work that''ll soon be in second edition is Zondervan's Amazing Discoveries That Unlock the Bible.
