I have the NA27 w/Apparatus and I thought that it had the symbols for the variants marked, but since I updated to 5.0b, I do not see those markers. Was I mistaken and they were never there or has something been turned off. Thanks.
Yours doesn't look like this? (I'm in 5.0b also). (Comparing the literal apparatus text is the same also, between L3 and L5.0b).
..
I'm also running Logos 5.0b (on Windows 7 64 bit). My apparatus markers are present in the NA XXVII, but are absent in the SBLGNT.
Not like this?
I have been entertaining getting the NA27 with the critical apparatus, what kind of interaction does it offer with the variants? Does it give you the full information found in the appendices right in the text?
any insight would be helpful! thanks!
Pastor Michael, in case this is what is happening be sure you are in the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece Editio XXVII which looks like this (using DMB's example):
and NOT in Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, 27th Edition, which does not have the apparatus markings:
By playing around with the various Greek fonts in "Tools" > "Program Settings" I've recovered (or more likely "re-noticed"!) the apparatus markings in the SBLGNT.
As I noted before, the apparatus markings in the Nestle XXVII were present on my screen all along.
Just checked NA XXVII and SBLGNT and both had the critical apparatus markings. I am using Logos 5 on a MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion. Are you sure that you did not accidently open a resource with the same name with 27 in the title rather than XXVII, that may be the difference. I hope that this helps.

Thanks for the reply. My problem was somehow in the update process, my "bible text only" box got checked and that took away the markers. As soon as I unchecked that box, the markers came back. Thanks.
