Prioritizing in my collections and among types

I understand how to prioritize here, but not into categories as types or my collections:

 

I was wondering how to prioritize the preferred resources into "types" or "collections." I have made biblical reference guides and include a specific collection option search. However, when it comes up. It is all of them and not in the order I desire to search them. This would also help me inprioritizing my commentaries.

Lamentably, prioritization doesn't work that way, which is to say, what you want to do can't be done - at least not this way.

I have made biblical reference guides and include a specific collection option search. However, when it comes up. It is all of them and not in the order I desire to search them. This would also help me inprioritizing my commentaries. 

Guides work they way they work. You've already created collections and your own guides, so I won't bother suggesting that. What I would suggest is making smaller, more specific collections. For example, instead of one large collection of commentaries, you may want to dial down to "Favorite Exegetical Commentaries," "Other Exegetical Commentaries," "Favorite Homiletical Commentaries," etc. I have categories for exegetical, critical, application, background, and homiletical (these are all tagged in my Library by type). Creating collections within these categories is one way of managing the many, many commentaries I have.

There are other strategies as well, maybe others will chime in with what works for them.

What I suggest above works for me.
