PB Footnotes Help

I have a question on footnotes for anyone out there who's savy on creating personal books. What I want to do is create footnotes that come up when the word is hovered over rather than the footnote indicator (usually a # or letter after the word). I know how to create footnotes in word and then have them become active in a logos personal book, but what I would like is to have the entire word activate the footnote popup instead of the indicating number or letter after the word.

I'm basically just trying to make this resource look nicer. In the end I will have so many footnotes that a footnote number after each word will just look crazy, on the otherhand, if the words themselves were able to activate the popup window, that would look so much better.

Does this make sense? Does anyone know how to do this? It's essentually a question for Word aficionados.

Thanks!

Anybody know how to do this? Maybe there isn't a way to this and it's just not possible?

You can use an entire word as a footnote reference mark in Word. There's a box for "Custom mark" in the Insert Footnote dialog, and then you can reformat the word to not be superscripted so that it looks like it fits in with the flow of the text. There appears to be a limit of 10 characters on the length of the custom mark, but that should be sufficient for most words. If you have to do a longer word, then make the footnote mark be the central 10 characters of that word and flank it with the rest of the letters to spell the whole word (with no spaces separating). Kind of a hack, but at least if you hover near the middle of the word, the popup will come up.

I'm not sure how the formatting will transfer over into Logos once you build the PB. I'm in a state where my computer crashed recently and I am just getting back up and running; haven't reinstalled Logos yet, so I can't test this out.
