Does anyone know why the typing on notes doesn't keep up with the key strokes? Does anyone else have this issue? Also it takes 4-5 seconds for the information to catch up with cursor when it is placed over a word. Are these things going to be fixed?
This is a known issue. It's particularly noticeable with some configurations (hardware & software). There is some beta testing going on right now for version 4.0a that addresses some speed issues. I'm not sure how much this one is addressed, since it's not been something I've seen on my machine.
In the meantime, some report better use by setting "Use Internet" to "No" (from the Tools>Program Settings menu), and/or by turning off some background tasks, especially anti-spyware, and by turning off "Tablet PC Input Service" from the Services menu of Windows (Vista/Win7). There's probably more going on, but so far the cause for these issues is not fully understood.

On my computers, none of this really helps and the beta is not much better. It improves overall program performance, but not the notes problem.
Thanks for the info, but I have already tried those. I have noticed though that when I am in my journal note file and I only have one bible open, the typing in my notes is normal. I wonder if it is that when I am taking notes while I study and there is alot going on on my page if that is what is slowing it down? Will Logos eventually get this worked out?

Could be. There's a lot that's not understood about how and why this happens. But it is common.
Will Logos eventually get this worked out?
We believe so, based on the quality of Logos as a company and the character of the folks who work there. But we don't know how long this will take.
