Hi all,
I hope this is the right forum to post this; I'm having trouble getting word search results within the NASB95. See e.g. below.
Can anyone help? I'd like to get this functioning properly.
thanks,
Andrew
Hi Andrew. Welcome to the forums! [:)]
The answer is likely in your screenshot... Your computer is indexing. Logos needs to finish before the searches will function right. Did you just install Logos? What package do you have?
Hi and thanks for your prompt reply.I get the same result weather logos is indexing or not.
I wonder if NASB95 has updated (especially if it is your preferred bible).
Type update resources in the command bar and it should update.
Try selecting Bible instead of Basic.
The Basic search should work - it will present results in a different way to the Bible search
You're right. A Basic search gives me 250 results in 153 articles.
Ok, I gave that a try, but still no luck... thanks anyway.

Yes, you're right. If I click on 'bible' rather than 'basic' the search function seems to work. However, the basic search should still work...
Thanks for the tip.

In which case it could still be a resource issue - have you tried the "update resources" command as suggested by Dave?
Or it could be an index problem - there are separate index files for Bibles and "the whole library".
If "update resources" doesn't fix it you could try "rebuild index" - note this will take a long time

Yes, do the Update resources if you haven't already and NASB is your prioritized Bible, but before going through all the trouble of a reindex I would suggest making sure the version numbers are correct:
Hi Everyone,
Thanks very much for all your responses. I did the 'rebuild index' which has fixed the problem.
best regards,
Hi Andrew
That's good news.
